Welcome to Bethel Christian School

Bethel Christian School is an independent, evangelical, non-denominational school.  We are dedicated to a strong academic program that teaches Christian character and Biblical truths integrated into each area of learning.  Our goal is to help our students develop a foundational Christian worldview that will produce responsible citizens who will glorify God in every aspect of their lives.

• Education and God's Word

     We believe the Bible is the authoritative, inerrant, sufficient Word of God.  It is woven throughout our academic teaching since all truth is seen ultimately as God's truth.  Our approach to education is primarily classical using curriculum that challenges students to become critical thinkers.  Art, Drama, Music, Physical Education, and Foreign Languages are also an important part of our curriculum. 

• Education and Our Teachers

     At the heart of our program is our teachers rather than textbooks.  We seek teachers who are solidly committed to Jesus Christ and well prepared to communicate God's love and His principles for living by example.

• Special Children/Special Education

   We believe that each and every child deserves a quality education.  Children that have greater learning challenges ought not to be denied a Christian education.  Our school is able to adapt the curriculum and work one-on-one with children that have learning challenges to help ensure academic success.  We have trained therapists for Barton Reading & Spelling, Search & Teach, an early intervention program, and NILD (National Institute for Learning Development) certification for Level I (Level II in progress). 

• Education and Parents

     We recognize that parents bear the primary role of training their own children.  We believe that it is imperative that the school and the home need to work closely together in order to function as a partnership.  It is our ultimate desire that each family be Christ-centered and active in their own local church.

• Our Goals for Success

     What will ultimately determine the success of Bethel Christian School, is not the size of our enrollment or even, our future goal of accreditation, but whether what is accomplished each day is "to the glory of God."
